Hours: Monday to Friday | No Nights or Weekends

We're recruiting Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists to become PIP Functional Assessors in Brighton.

No previous Functional Assessor experience required. Full training provided.

You'll:
- Conduct structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
- Explore how health conditions affect daily living, mobility and independence
- Review clinical histories, medical evidence and supporting information
- Use your clinical reasoning to ask relevant questions and understand functional limitations
- Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports
- Work within a structured clinical environment with ongoing professional support
Who Can Apply? We're looking for:
- Registered Nurses: RGN, RMN or RNLD with active NMC registration
- Physiotherapists with active HCPC registration
- Occupational Therapists with active HCPC registration
- Paramedics with active HCPC registration
- Pharmacists with active GPhC registration
- Minimum 12 months' post-qualification clinical experience
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Confidence interpreting clinical information
- Good written communication and report-writing skills
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Must live within 90 minutes of Brighton
- Able to attend the assessment centre at least 3 days per week
Applications cannot be considered from Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants, student nurses or individuals without active professional registration.

You'll complete a comprehensive, inclusive training programme designed to help you transfer your existing clinical knowledge into the PIP assessment environment. You'll receive ongoing clinical oversight, feedback and professional support as you develop your assessment and report-writing skills.
Your clinical experience is the foundation. We'll provide the training to help you build on it.
