WeDoData are working exclusively with an established education and training organisation based near the Hampshire/Surrey border, supporting learners and employers across the region.

The organisation is now looking to appoint an experienced Funding & Compliance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with education data & systems, managing the leaner records of around 250 apprentices.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the funding and compliance throughout the organisation, ensuring accurate individualise learner records (ILR) – checking data, resolving errors, meeting submission deadlines and being fully compliant and audit ready.

You will also be responsible for the line management of 2 MIS Support officers – providing guidance and allocating work whilst helping to develop their knowledge.

About You

We’re looking for someone with experience working in the education sector with a focus on MIS, funding & compliance in apprenticeships.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • Managing and maintaining learner/student data
  • Excellent knowledge of apprenticeships and funding rules
  • Educational MIS Systems such as YETI, ProSolution, PICS, Tribal EBS, Unit-E
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Data quality and compliance
  • Producing reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with learners, employers and other stakeholders

In return

  • £42,000 – £46,000 salary
  • Hybrid working – 2 days from home
  • Flexible working hours and arrangements – 35 hours per week
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday
