Looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference while developing valuable communication and fundraising skills?

Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a growing client in Southampton for a Fundraiser to join their expanding community outreach team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to represent nationally recognised charities through face-to-face community fundraising. You'll engage with members of the public in local communities, including residential neighbourhoods, high streets, and busy public areas where people live, work, and shop. Your role will be to raise awareness of important causes, share the impact of the charities you represent, and inspire people to become long-term supporters.

No previous fundraising experience is required. Full training, ongoing coaching, and continuous support will be provided from day one.

About the Role

As a Fundraiser, you'll be the face and voice of the charities you represent, building genuine relationships through positive and engaging conversations.

You'll educate members of the public about the work each charity does, answer questions about their campaigns, and help supporters complete the registration process with confidence and professionalism. Every conversation has the opportunity to make a lasting impact for charities and the communities they support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Representing nationally recognised charities through face-to-face community outreach

• Speaking with members of the public in locations where people live, work, and shop

• Raising awareness of charity missions, campaigns, and community impact

• Building trust through friendly, informative, and engaging conversations

• Helping new supporters complete a professional and compliant registration process

• Working towards individual and team fundraising goals

• Participating in regular coaching sessions, campaign briefings, and ongoing development

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Excellent communicators who enjoy meeting new people

• Self-motivated and eager to learn

• Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment

Previous experience in fundraising, customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, promotions, or community engagement is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Earnings & Benefits

• Earnings (£600 - £650 per week) include a combination of base pay plus uncapped on-target earnings through performance-based incentives (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period)
