Furnace Operator

Location: Dudley
Salary: £14.94 - £17.26 per hour
Shifts: Fixed Mornings 06:00 - 16:00, Days 07:00 - 17:00 or Afternoons 15:00pm - Midnight| Monday to Thursday

Are you an experienced Furnace, Forge, Heat Treatment Operative looking for a permanent role with excellent earning potential and a four-day working week?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering manufacturer in Dudley for skilled operatives with experience in forging, heat treatment or foundry environments. These are permanent opportunities offering fixed shifts, competitive rates of pay and long-term career prospects.

You'll be responsible for working across a range of forge and heat treatment operations, including:

• Heat treatment and furnace operation

• Forging press operation

• Hardness testing

• Quality inspection of components

• Investigating product failures

• Breaking down production loads

• Working safely within a busy manufacturing environment

To be considered, you must have previous experience within a forge, foundry or heat treatment environment.

Essential experience:

• Heat treatment processes

• Furnace operation

• Forging or forge shop experience

• Manufacturing quality inspection

Desirable:

• FLT licence or experience

• Overhead Crane experience

Fixed shifts available:

• Mornings

• Days

• Afternoons

All shifts are worked Monday to Thursday, providing a three-day weekend every week.

Although you will work a fixed shift, flexibility is required to cover alternative shifts during holiday periods when needed.
