  • Support traffic management operations and site safety requirements.
  • Complete digital records, inspections, risk assessments and site documentation.
  • Participate in winter maintenance and out-of-hours emergency response rotas.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience within highways maintenance, groundworks, utilities, construction or civil engineering.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a highways environment.
  • Ability to organise workloads and manage work activities on site.
  • Experience completing site paperwork, risk assessments and work records.
  • Competent using tablets, smartphones and other digital devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to participate in winter maintenance and emergency call-out activities.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and respond effectively to changing operational requirements.
