An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Team Leader to join a growing horticultural business with a strong focus on quality and service. This role is ideal for someone looking to step beyond a typical supervisory position and develop into a broader operational role over time.

You will begin by leading from the front on-site, ensuring high standards are met and supporting your team day to day. As you develop, you will gradually take on more responsibility across planning, client interaction, and overall operations, becoming a key part of how the business runs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support garden maintenance teams on-site
• Deliver work to a consistently high standard
• Carry out a wide range of practical maintenance tasks
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Support and mentor team members
• Assist with planning and organising daily workloads
• Begin to support site visits, client communication, and quoting
• Contribute to improving processes, efficiency, and team performance

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a practical, outdoor or trade-based role
• Confident using tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Natural leadership ability or supervisory experience
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Motivated to grow into a more senior role over time
• Horticulture experience is beneficial but not essential
