Gas Engineer

DOMESTIC GAS ENGINEER | WALTHAM FOREST | £40-45K | VAN & FUEL CARD 

We're seeking an experienced engineer to join one of our leading Social Housing Clients in a PAYE Service & Repair position. If you thrive on fault finding, problem solving and delivering outstanding customer service, this could be the perfect next step.

The Role:

• Service & Repair Engineer (PAYE)
• Waltham Forest 
• £40-45K dependent on experience and qualifications
• Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
• Take part in their call out rota
• 24 days holiday (increasing by length of service)
• Company van and fuel card supplied
• Pension with 4% salary sacrifice scheme and employer contribution
• Death in service benefit of 4x salary

What You'll Be Doing:

✔ Diagnosing and repairing boiler and heating system faults
✔ Carrying out annual gas services and safety checks
✔ Completing reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance works
✔ Servicing HIUs and domestic heating systems
✔ Testing smoke and CO alarms to ensure customer safety
✔ Delivering first-class customer service on every visit
✔ Accurately recording works using handheld devices
✔ Supporting apprentices and junior engineers when required

Essential:

✅ ACS
✅ CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1 & CENWAT
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Minimum 5 years' experience within domestic gas servicing and repairs
✅ Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
✅ Previous proven social housing experience
✅ Clean DBS
