Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer – Social Housing (No Call-Out)

An award-winning Housing Association based in Barnet is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable role with no call-out requirement, offering a strong work-life balance.

Role Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of:

• Annual gas boiler servicing
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs
• General maintenance of domestic heating systems

You will be working within occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality service while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled annual gas services efficiently and to a high standard
• Diagnose and repair boiler faults and heating system issues
• Ensure all works comply with current gas safety regulations
• Complete accurate job reports and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Extensive experience in domestic gas servicing and breakdowns
• Previous experience working within social housing environments
• Valid and in-date ACS qualifications:
• CCN1
• CENWAT
• HTR1
• CKR1
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

• On Target Earnings: £45,000
• Company van and fuel card provided
• All equipment supplied (analyser, uniform, phone, PPE)
