We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a housing association contract in Banbury, carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance across residential properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a long-term position, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.

The Role

As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing gas and heating faults.
  • Working across housing association properties.
  • Wiring and connecting heating control panels.
  • Completing work safely and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork and job records.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements

The successful Gas Engineer must have:

  • Gas Safe registration.
  • Relevant ACS qualifications.
  • Experience carrying out domestic gas repairs.
  • Experience with wiring heating controls/control panels.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience working in domestic properties.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.

Benefits

  • £25 per hour via agency.
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity.
  • £46,000 per annum once permanent.
  • Company van provided.
  • Fuel provided.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Optional overtime available.
