We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a housing association contract in Banbury, carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance across residential properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a long-term position, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
The Role
As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing gas and heating faults.
- Working across housing association properties.
- Wiring and connecting heating control panels.
- Completing work safely and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and job records.
- Providing excellent customer service to residents.
Requirements
The successful Gas Engineer must have:
- Gas Safe registration.
- Relevant ACS qualifications.
- Experience carrying out domestic gas repairs.
- Experience with wiring heating controls/control panels.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working in domestic properties.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
Benefits
- £25 per hour via agency.
- Temporary to permanent opportunity.
- £46,000 per annum once permanent.
- Company van provided.
- Fuel provided.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- Optional overtime available.
