We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a busy contractor delivering multiple school refurbishment projects across South Wales.

This is an urgent requirement, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following an initial contract period.

The Role

You will be site-based, managing and supporting mechanical installation works on live refurbishment projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising mechanical installation teams on site
• Working on boilers, copper pipework and steel pipe systems
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
• Coordinating labour and subcontractors to maintain progress
• Liaising with site management and project teams
• Supporting quality control, snagging and completion activities

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
• Valid Gas Safe certification (essential)
• Strong background working on commercial refurbishment projects (schools, hospitals, etc.)
• Confident working with:
  • Steel pipework
  • Copper pipe installations
  • Boiler systems
• Able to lead teams and maintain site standards

Hours & Pay

• £27.00 per hour (CIS or LTD)
• Weekly pay
• Overtime available (rates to be confirmed)

Permanent Package 

For candidates moving into a permanent role:

• £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary (DOE)
