Coyles are seeking reliable and professional Traffic Management Operatives with a valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock qualification for a major road closure project based in Chelmsford, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure up to 6 months of consistent work on a high-profile traffic management contract,

📍 Location

Chelmsford, Essex

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates based up to around 10 miles from Chelmsford.

✅ The Role

Working as part of an established Traffic Management team, your duties will include:

• Manning road closure access points
• Operating Gate / Air Lock systems
• Controlling authorised vehicle access and egress
• Communicating with site management and traffic management teams
• Maintaining site security and public safety
• Monitoring access permissions in line with project requirements
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Chapter 8 guidelines
• Completing basic site records and reports where required
• Providing professional customer service to residents, businesses and authorised contractors

🎓 Essential Requirements

• Valid LANTRA Gate Air Lock Qualification
• Previous Traffic Management experience preferred
• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
• Strong communication skills
• Professional and courteous approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
