This isn't a role where you'll inherit years of technical debt and simply maintain existing systems. You'll help build, improve and influence a platform that sits at the heart of the business's future data strategy.

What you'll be doing
You'll be involved in designing, building and enhancing scalable cloud-based data solutions, including:
- Developing robust data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Building and optimising modern data architectures.
- Working with large-scale datasets to support analytics and business intelligence.
- Collaborating with analysts, engineers and business stakeholders.
- Helping drive engineering best practice across the team.
- Solving complex data challenges and delivering pragmatic solutions.
- Contributing to the continuous evolution of a modern cloud data platform.
You'll likely have:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer within GCP.
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines and platforms.
- Expertise with technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
- Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals.
- An engineering mindset and a passion for solving problems.
- Confidence working independently while remaining highly collaborative.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
