GCSE Tutor - Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) | Immediate Start

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Tutors to support young people across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 tuition to students working towards their GCSE qualifications. You will deliver tailored sessions that meet individual learning needs, helping students build confidence, improve attainment, and achieve their academic goals. Tutors will also be required to complete weekly feedback reports to monitor progress and engagement.

We work closely with schools, alternative provisions, local authorities, and children's services across the UK and are looking for tutors who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.



CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP)
  • Position: GCSE Tutor
  • Subjects: English, Maths and/or Science
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Type: Part-time
  • Hours: Flexible
  • Pay Rate: £25 to £30 per hour


EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (Desirable)

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent qualification
  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students
  • Previous experience working within a UK educational setting
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people
  • Have a minimum of one year's experience in an educational setting

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. Successful applicants will be required to complete the registration process before placement. A current DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can assist with obtaining a new DBS where required.
