General Builder / Bricklayer

All works based around South London and Surrey areas

We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder / Bricklayer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong bricklaying skills along with a broad range of general building experience.

You will be working on a variety of projects, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, repairs and general maintenance. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and consistently works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Bricklaying, blockwork and stonework
• Building walls, extensions and other structures
• Pointing, repointing and brick repairs
• Setting out and working from drawings where required
• General building and maintenance work
• Concrete, foundations and groundwork
• Plasterboarding and making good
• Carrying out repairs and refurbishment work
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Liaising with other trades and working as part of a team
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bricklayer / General Builder
• Strong bricklaying and blockwork skills
• Good knowledge of general building practices
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Good attention to detail
• Professional approach to work
• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential
