General Builder RG9 Henley-on-Thames

We are currently looking for an experienced General Builder to work alongside a team of bricklayers on a residential new-build project.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be working in front of the bricklayers, making sure the wall build-up and associated works are correctly prepared and installed.

Duties will include:

• Installing wall insulation
• Installing wall ties to secure brickwork
• Installing DPC (Damp Proof Course)
• Installing fire barriers / cavity fire barriers
• Preparing areas for bricklayers to continue their work
• Working to drawings, specifications and site requirements
• Maintaining good standards of workmanship and site safety
• Working closely with bricklayers and the site team

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Builder / Brickwork Improver
• Experience with insulation, wall ties, DPC and fire barriers
• Good understanding of new-build construction
• CSCS card mandatory
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Own tools and PPE

Pay: £200.00-£220.00 per day
