As a General Building Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping the site safe, tidy and well maintained by:

• Carrying out a variety of Building maintenance tasks across the site
• Supporting skilled trades with repair and maintenance projects
• Completing general decorating, minor repairs, furniture assembly and other practical maintenance duties
• Reporting defects and ensuring equipment, fixtures and facilities remain in good working order
• Assisting with site upkeep, including external areas when required
• Providing support for contractors and helping maintain a safe working environment
• Undertaking a range of Facilities Maintenance duties as required to support the wider team

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous experience in general property repairs, Building maintenance, or similar hands-on work
• Good practical DIY skills and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload
• Strong time management and a reliable approach to work
• A relevant trade qualification or CITB certification would be advantageous but isn't essential
