Salary: Up to £55,000- £60,000+ Package
Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure projects across East Anglia, including Suffolk and Norfolk. Due to continued growth within the energy and Civils sectors, they are looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
·Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
·Lead and motivate site operatives, subcontractors, and plant resources, working closely with the Site Agent, engineers, and wider project team to achieve programme milestones.
·Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
·Organise daily site activities, allocate labour and plant effectively, monitor productivity, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
·Assist with planning works, coordinating deliveries and materials, maintaining accurate site records, and ensuring quality inspections and environmental controls are implemented throughout construction.
·Support the successful delivery of projects within the energy, water, and wider infrastructure sectors.
Requirements
Essential
·Proven experience as a General Foreman or Senior Foreman within the civil engineering industry.
·Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors on civil engineering projects.
·Valid CSCS card relevant to the role.
·SMSTS certification.
·Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
·Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
·Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
·Experience delivering projects within the energy, water, or infrastructure sectors.
Desirable
·Temporary Works Supervisor qualification.
·CPCS Appointed Person or Crane Supervisor.
·HSG47 Underground Services.
·First Aid at Work.
·NRSWA Supervisor.
·Experience managing a direct delivery workforce.
·Environmental awareness training (e.g. SEATS).
