General Foreman

General Foreman – A9 Project

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to join our team on the A9 project.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a major infrastructure project, with a minimum duration of 2 years. Pay rate is DOE (Dependent on Experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of site operations.
• Managing subcontractors across highways and civils works.
• Coordinating site activities to ensure programme delivery.
• Ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Planning works and allocating resources effectively.
• Reporting progress and site updates to the site management team.

Requirements

• CSCS Black or Gold Card (Essential)
• SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
• First Aid Certificate
• Right to Work in the UK (Essential)
• Proven experience working as a General Foreman.
• Strong background in highways and civil engineering projects, with a particular emphasis on structures, retaining walls, and culverts.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and daily site operations.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
