General Maintenance Operative

We're looking for a proactive, skilled General Maintenance Operative to join a growing team in the storage industry. You'll carry out repairs and preventative maintenance across UK facilities — self-storage units, office complexes, and retail parades — working independently and as part of the team.
Package
- £30,000 to £35,000 salary (based on experience)
- Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities
- Plumbing and drainage works.
- Tiling, painting, decorating, carpeting.
- Paving and grounds maintenance.
- Site pressure washing.
- Furniture assembly and removal.
- Site clearance.
Candidate Specification
- Minimum 3 years' building trade or property maintenance experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- Cladding and roofing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills — you'll manage your workload to meet our KPIs and SLAs.
- Competent with IT systems for logging work and costs.
- Solid understanding of health and safety — spot hazards, carry out point-of-work risk assessments.
- Good communication skills.
