We are looking for an experienced General Manager with a passion for excellence to lead our flagship property, the four-star Cabarfeidh Hotel.

With 48 bedrooms, four function suites catering for between 30 and 250 guests, and the 80-cover Cleaver Restaurant, the position of General Manager at the Cabarfeidh offers an exciting and rewarding challenge for an experienced hotel leader.

The General Manager Opportunity

As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership and performance of the Cabarfeidh Hotel.

The successful candidate will be given a high degree of autonomy and will be expected to engage, lead and work closely with an experienced and receptive hotel team, driving them towards achieving budgeted revenues while consistently exceeding guest expectations.

You will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, developing your team and ensuring the hotel continues to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

In addition, the successful candidate will become a member of the Cala Hotels General Management Team, providing the opportunity to share their experience and expertise across our wider hotel group, which also includes the Caladh Inn and Royal Hotel in Stornoway.

This collaborative management structure provides a strong network of support, advice and shared expertise across all three hotels, while allowing each General Manager the autonomy to lead their own property.

The Essential General Manager Skills

We are looking for an established Hotel General Manager with a proven track record in quality UK hotels operating across both corporate and leisure markets.

The successful candidate will be:

• An excellent and inspirational leader
• Passionate about delivering exceptional standards and guest experiences
• Experienced in leading and developing hotel teams

• Driven to achieve results while maintaining a strong focus on quality
