General Operative – Warehouse Clearance Project

Location: LS23
Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting General Operatives to support a large warehouse clearance project in the LS23 area.

Following the acquisition of a former business site, our client requires additional staff to assist with the movement, sorting and preparation of stock, equipment and warehouse materials.

This is a hands-on role and will suit candidates who are physically fit, reliable and happy carrying out a variety of warehouse duties.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the movement of stock and materials throughout the warehouse
• Supporting FLT Drivers with warehouse clearance activities
• Sorting, organising and relocating products
• Loading and unloading items as required
• General warehouse housekeeping
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
