Job Title: General Operative – Moulding & Finishing

Location: Stone, Staffordshire

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our busy moulding and finishing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided, although previous experience in production, moulding, finishing, or general factory work would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating moulding and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Trimming, sanding, polishing, and finishing moulded products to quality standards.

• Inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality requirements are met.

• Preparing materials and components for production.

• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• Assisting with general production duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment is desirable but not essential.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.

• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks.

• Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.

• Working on rotational shists, 0600-1400 then 1400-2300hrs (early finish on a Friday)
