A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a motivated General Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop new skills and build a long-term career.
Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is highly desirable. CNC machinery experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities- Operating and assisting with a variety of production machinery
- Supporting daily manufacturing operations
- Moving materials and products safely around the workshop
- Following work instructions and production schedules
- Performing quality checks on completed work
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
- Learning new manufacturing processes and machine operation
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or factory environment
- Experience operating machinery or industrial equipment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- CNC experience is beneficial but not essential
- £13.50 - £14.00 per hour
