General Operative

DS Smith in Featherstone are currently looking for 2 Operatives to support the team for the next week working 13 shifts 

Role: General Operative 
Location: DS Smith Featherstone, Commonside Lane, Featherstone Wakefield, WF7 5DF
Rate: £15.79 per hour
Contract Length: 1 weeks work - 13 shifts starting 13th Sept till 19th Sept 
Hours: Sunday 13th Sept - Sat 19th Sept
The shifts will be days 06:00–18:00 and Nights 18:00–06:00.

Responsibilities: 

• Collecting sheets of cardboard off the line and putting them on a pallet 
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times
• Quality checking product
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager 

Essential requirements:

• Can do attitude
• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment desirable 
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling 
• The flexibility to work extra days
