General Teaching Assistant - KS1/KS2
Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary: £93 - £105 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
Contract: Temporary; full-time availability preferred, working pattern to be agreed
Start date: 05/10/2026
Hours: Term time - 8:30 - 3:30 - school day

Transparency Education is recruiting three General Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learning in Dartford.
You will be an extra pair of hands and a consistent source of encouragement in the classroom, helping children understand tasks and become more confident learners. The role combines whole-class support with focused work for individuals and small groups.

Responsibilities
• Support lesson activities under the direction of the class teacher
• Help pupils practise reading, writing and number skills
• Prepare resources and keep classroom materials organised
• Lead short, teacher-planned group activities where appropriate
• Encourage positive behaviour and independent learning
• Share observations about progress and additional support needs

Requirements
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• Good spoken and written English and confident numeracy
• A patient, proactive approach to classroom support
• The ability to follow teachers’ guidance; a relevant TA qualification is desirable
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
