My client is looking for a reliable and motivated General Workshop Operative to join their friendly team. Whether you already have workshop experience or are looking to build your skills in industrial finishing, we'd love to hear from you.
Based in Bridgwater, they specialise in applying high-quality powder-coated and industrial paint finishes to fabricated and manufactured metal products.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. Your duties may include:
- Preparing metal products ready for painting
- Safely lifting and moving components around the workshop
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch
- Collecting and delivering materials using a company vehicle
- Supporting different areas of the workshop as needed
- Powder coating
- Wet spraying
- Shot blasting
- Other industrial finishing techniques
We are keen to hear from people who are:
- Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently
- Flexible and happy to help across different workshop tasks
- Practical and safety-conscious
- Previous workshop or manufacturing experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Aged 25 or over (required for company vehicle insurance)
- Experience in powder coating or industrial painting (helpful but not essential)
- Competitive pay from £13.00 per hour, with higher rates based on experience and skills
