We have an exciting opportunity for a Generator Engineer to work for a large national company.
They work with a range of industries from construction through to festivals and schools. Basically anyone needing temporary power needs. The client is looking for an experienced, hard-working engineer who is multi skilled and has experience with generators or engines.

Job Title – Field Service Engineer
Location – Field Based (depot based in Birtley)
Salary Package – £35k (£17.25 per hour) + company van + excellent overtime rates (overall earnings £45-50K)
Main Duties:
- Servicing and maintaining generators
- Report directly to the Depot Manager
- Fault finding.
- Mechanical and Electrical repairs
- Depot / onsite duties
- Liaising directly with customers
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines
Requirements:
- A qualification within plant engineering / mechanical engineering
- Experience of generator engineering
- Field service experience
- Full UK driver’s licence
