A growing environmental consultancy is looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join its London team.

This is a varied role combining practical site investigation with technical report writing, ideal for someone who enjoys having a balance between being out in the field and developing their technical knowledge in the office.

You’ll work on a range of contaminated land, ground investigation and remediation projects.

What you'll be doing

• Undertake and assist with site investigations

• Carry out environmental sampling and monitoring

• Assess ground conditions and potential contamination

• Interpret site and laboratory data

• Prepare Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports

• Support remediation and verification strategies

• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants

• Contribute to projects from site investigation through to reporting and delivery

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar

• Previous geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation experience

• Strong technical writing and reporting skills

• Comfortable working on site and conducting fieldwork

• Good analytical and communication skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Ambition to progress within the environmental sector
