Geo-Environmental Engineer, required in Durham, to start ASAP.
The Role
We are recruiting for 2x Geo-Environmental Engineers to join a growing environmental consultancy.
This is a mixed office and site-based role where you will be involved in a range of geo-environmental projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Phase 1 Desk Top Studies
- Preparing Phase 2 Ground Investigation Reports
- Completing Coal Mining Risk Assessments
- Writing clear and accurate interpretative reports
- Supporting site investigations and related fieldwork
- Working closely with the wider technical team
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 1 year’s experience as a Geo-Environmental Engineer (or similar)
- Proven experience writing interpretative reports (Phase 1, Phase 2 and Coal Mining Risk Assessments)
- A relevant degree (Geology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to sites across the UK when required
