The Role

  • Carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations.
  • Supervising ground investigation works, including trial pits, boreholes and soil sampling.
  • Logging soil and groundwater conditions.
  • Reviewing laboratory testing results and assisting with data interpretation.
  • Preparing geoenvironmental and contaminated land reports.
  • Supporting remediation and validation projects.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Experience working within a Geoenvironmental, Contaminated Land or Ground Investigation role.
  • A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related subject.
  • Knowledge of UK ground investigation practices and contaminated land assessment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Full UK driving licence.
