We're seeking a talented and driven Geo-Environmental Engineer to join an expert team in Edinburgh. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the chance to apply your technical expertise and work on a variety of complex projects in both office and field settings. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and benefit from ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities of the Geo-Environmental Engineer role:

  • Conducting and overseeing ground investigations, including borehole logging and coring, soil sampling, and field testing.

  • Writing factual and interpretive reports based on field data.

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met on site.

  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Managing the technical aspects of projects, with potential for client interaction and project leadership.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering).

  • Some prior experience in a geo-environmental or geotechnical role, with proficiency in ground investigation techniques.

  • Strong report writing and communication skills.

  • A full UK driving licence, as travel to site is required.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Live in or near to Edinburgh
