Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Hillingdon, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and support student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.
- Passionate about inspiring young people and raising attainment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
