A highly regarded independent preparatory school for boys in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2026.

The role would particularly suit a teacher with primary teaching experience, especially within Key Stage 2, who enjoys working with younger learners while also having the confidence to teach older pupils in KS3. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver an inspiring curriculum and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Geography Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Primary teaching experience is highly desirable, particularly within KS2
  • Experience teaching Geography to KS2 pupils is essential, with KS3 experience welcomed
  • Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of teaching and learning

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS
