TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Didsbury that has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. The school provides an ambitious learning environment focused on supporting students to achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Geography Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis from October, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Geography Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of classroom management.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

• QTS with Geography specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
