Geography Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive and well-established secondary school in Minster-on-Sea from September through to January.
This is a full-time role (5 days per week) and would suit an experienced teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across the secondary age range. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, assessment, and attending relevant meetings in line with school expectations.
The Role
- Full-time Geography teaching position
- September start through to January
- Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is beneficial but not essential)
- Full planning, preparation, marking, and assessment responsibilities
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress
- Monitoring pupil attainment and providing effective feedback to help students achieve their potential
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have previous UK classroom teaching experience within a secondary school
- Be confident delivering the Geography curriculum to a high standard
- Have excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
- Be passionate about inspiring students and raising achievement
- Be able to reliably commute to Minster-on-Sea (ME12) on a daily basis
