Geography Teacher

Zest Education have been asked to find a Geography Teacher, to teach across KS3 and KS4, in a Secondary school in Erdington, Birmingham. The position will start Sept 2026, full time, this will continue until the end of the academic year.
The school is a large secondary, which caters for a broad range of students, including a high number of EAL students. The school is continually improving their standards and always encourage their students to achieve excellence socially and academically. The school is also situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport.
The ideal candidate will need:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Geography and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
