Geotechnical Design Engineer
Our client is a highly successful civil and structural engineering consultancy, with ambitions for further and expansion.
They're now looking to recruit a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their team near Exeter, and work collaboratively with their permanent and temporary works engineers on a wide range of exciting projects, nationally.
They need someone with the following experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years geotechnical design experience.
- A degree in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering.
- Sound knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and soil and rock mechanics.
- Experience with the design of foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and/or slope stability.
- Experience using recognised geotechnical analysis and design software.
- Confidence communicating technical information to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or actively working towards ICE chartership.
