German Teacher

We are currently working with a well-established secondary school in the Blackpool & Fylde Coast area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed MFL German Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a long-term position from January 2027, joining a supportive MFL department and making a real impact on students' progress and development.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality German lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm for languages.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging German lessons.
• Teaching across KS3 and KS4.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations where required.
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Working collaboratively as part of the wider MFL department.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

The school is looking for a teacher who:

• Has QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching German within a secondary school.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for languages.
• Can deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting students.
• Is available to start in January 2027.
