About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Gold Card Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical testing, inspection, remedial works, and PAT testing across residential and communal properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Carry out electrical testing and inspections in occupied and void properties.
• Complete remedial works arising from inspection reports.
• Undertake Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Perform maintenance and repair work within communal areas.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with current BS7671 regulations.
• Accurately complete certification and compliance documentation.
• Deliver high standards of customer service while working in residents' homes and communal environments.
• Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and stock levels.

Requirements

Essential

• ECS Gold Card Electrician.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safety regulations.

Desirable

• Experience working within social housing or property maintenance.
• Previous experience carrying out PAT testing.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
