MTrec Technical are representing our well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Goods In Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth running of the department through the use of planning, scheduling and reporting.

The Job you will do:

  • Coordinate and manage the daily Goods In delivery schedule, allocating appropriate and achievable time slots to ensure the efficient receipt of incoming deliveries.
  • Review delivery documentation from the previous day, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with resolving purchase order and system-related issues that may prevent deliveries from being processed correctly.
  • Prepare and allocate transport reference numbers for upcoming deliveries.
  • Accurately process and receipt incoming deliveries through the company's ERP system, ensuring all associated documentation is completed and authorised.
  • Identify and report stock variances, product identification issues and batch discrepancies through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Ensure all administrative, procedural and documentation requirements are completed accurately and to a consistently high standard.
  • Process corrections to incorrectly receipted deliveries and ensure records are accurately updated.
  • Manage the processing, recording and scanning of bulk delivery documentation to support accurate financial and stock administration.
  • Create, maintain and distribute key performance indicators (KPIs), including haulier on-time and in-full performance and Goods In receipting accuracy.
  • Record and communicate Goods In performance data to relevant internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Utilise ERP and business management systems to manage delivery, purchase order and stock-related processes.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a Goods In, Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain administration role.
  • Experience coordinating and managing delivery schedules and booking-in processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when checking delivery documentation, purchase orders, stock records and batch information.
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems to process deliveries, purchase orders and stock movements.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies, system issues and stock variances.
  • Experience creating, maintaining and distributing KPI data and performance reports.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers and transport providers.
