Goods In FLT Driver

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment in Lincoln.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous FLT experience who is confident working in a fast-paced Goods In environment.

Job Role: Goods In FLT Driver
Location: Watton
Shift: 10:00am - 6:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour
Employment: Ongoing work with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate

The Role

As a Goods In FLT Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring deliveries are received, moved and stored safely and efficiently.

Duties may include:

Operating an FLT safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock and materials around the site
Checking incoming goods and deliveries
Ensuring goods are stored correctly
Completing relevant paperwork and records
Working closely with the Goods In and wider warehouse team
Following all health and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
What We're Looking For

Previous FLT experience is essential for this position.

We're looking for candidates who have:

Previous experience operating an FLT
Good verbal communication skills
Good numerical skills and attention to detail
The ability to accurately check and record incoming goods
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
A reliable and hardworking attitude
The ability to work well as part of a team
Previous warehouse, logistics or Goods In experience is desirable
Very occasional weekend working may be required. Overtime is paid at double time after completion of weekly contractual hours.
