Goods In Operative

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative / FLT Driver on behalf of our client based in Farnworth.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming goods
• Load and unload palletised deliveries using FLT Counterbalance
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to record stock movements accurately
• Store materials in designated locations following safety and organisational standards
• Pick and pack items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and labelling
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Liaising with office and instructing drivers on their routes each day

Experience

• Previous warehouse / goods in experience is essential
• FLT Counterbalance licence
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Ability to multitask
• Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to warehousing environments

You will be required to work Monday to Thursday 6am-5pm and Friday 6am-2pm. This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
