Step into a pivotal role working with our client who are a leading Oil & Gas operator at their Great Yarmouth Warehouse as a Goods Inward Coordinator.
Your expertise will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient coordination of materials for offshore shipments and returns.
Although this is an initial12-month contract it is highly likely to be extended.
The role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our Supply Chain Management, playing a key role in managing shipping documentation, liaising with port authorities, and leading critical safety and operational procedures. Key Skills You Bring:
- Proficient computer skills, especially across the Microsoft suite with strong Excel capabilities
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to safely follow and enforce operational and HSE procedures
- Full driving licence
- Dangerous Goods training for Road, Air & Sea transport
- Experience in raising Purchase Requests (PRs) and managing equipment service schedules including LOLER inspections
- Background in operational site HSE leadership and fire safety coordination
- Familiarity with site inductions and permit control for 3rd party works
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, shipping logistics, or supply chain support roles
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment managing shipping schedules and documentation
- Relevant certifications or training related to logistics, health and safety, or supply chain management
- Availability to be on-call for evenings and weekends as needed
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
- Be able to work onsite at the Warehouse in Great Yarmouth, working Monday to Friday
