The Role

At Scrumconnect Ltd, we are passionate about delivering digital and technology services that create meaningful impact across the UK public sector. As a Graduate PMO, you will play a key role in supporting our client accounts, delivery governance, and project coordination activities across major government programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career within a growing IT consultancy, working closely with Delivery Managers, Account Leads, PMO teams, consultants, and technical specialists in an agile environment. You will gain hands-on exposure to large-scale public sector programmes while building strong foundations in project coordination, stakeholder management, governance, reporting, and client operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Graduate PMO, you will:

  • Support Delivery Managers, PMO Leads, and Account Managers with governance and coordination activities across public sector client accounts.
  • Maintain project trackers, onboarding records, action logs, and reporting documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing minutes and actions.
  • Support resource coordination, onboarding activities, and timesheet/project administration.
  • Help manage project and account reporting, including dashboards, status updates, and delivery metrics.
  • Liaise with internal teams including recruitment, finance, operations, and delivery to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Support compliance activities relating to public sector requirements, clearances, and documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and coordination.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal PMO and operational processes.

What We're Looking For

We do not expect extensive experience — we will provide training, mentoring, and support to help you develop your career. We are looking for someone who brings:

Essential / Mandatory:

  • Experience working with the SC (Security Check) clearance process is mandatory — candidates must either currently hold SC clearance or have direct prior experience navigating the SC clearance application/vetting process, given the nature of our public sector client accounts.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • A proactive and professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

Desirable (not essential):

  • Exposure to project coordination, reporting tools, Jira, or PMO activities.
