Overview of the Role

An opportunity for an experienced RIAI Grade 1 Conservation Architect to join an established architectural practice in Dublin. This senior or associate level position focuses on conservation, heritage and adaptive reuse projects, providing technical leadership while supporting project delivery, planning submissions and the continued growth of the practice's specialist conservation services.

Practice & Project Information

The successful candidate will join an award-winning architectural practice working across conservation, heritage and adaptive reuse projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, planning, sustainability, BIM, interiors and urban design while helping develop the practice's specialist conservation offering.

Key Responsibilities
Lead conservation and heritage projects from appraisal through to completion
Prepare conservation reports, statements of significance, heritage impact assessments and condition surveys
Provide specialist advice on repair, restoration, adaptive reuse and traditional construction methods
Support planning submissions, statutory consultations, heritage strategies and fee proposals
Develop client relationships while contributing to business development and the growth of conservation services
Mentor junior colleagues and provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams

Required Skills and Experience
Registered Architect in Ireland with RIAI Grade 1 Conservation Architect accreditation
Senior or associate level experience delivering conservation and adaptive reuse projects
Strong knowledge of Irish conservation legislation, planning policy and statutory processes
Experience producing conservation documentation, heritage assessments and technical reports
Confident managing clients, consultant teams, programmes and project delivery
Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is beneficial
