No two days are the same. One morning you might be helping someone prepare for an interview over a coffee. That afternoon you could be meeting an employer to create a new job opportunity.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a small caseload of participants.
- Supporting with CVs, job applications and interviews.
- Creating SMART action plans and helping people move into work quickly.
- Working alongside NHS teams, local authorities and community partners.
- Building relationships with employers and identifying suitable vacancies.
- Providing ongoing in-work support to help people sustain employment.
This is a community-based role in Croydon, so you'll spend most of your time out meeting participants and employers rather than sitting behind a desk.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with one of the following backgrounds:
- A recent graduate (Psychology or a related degree is beneficial but not essential) who has gained some experience in sales, recruitment or supporting vulnerable people through work or volunteering.
- An Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Work Coach or Employment Specialist looking for a new opportunity.
- A Recruiter or Recruitment Consultant who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets and is looking to move into a more rewarding, purpose-driven career.
This is a busy, fast-paced role with a significant amount of administration, so you’ll need to be organised, comfortable using IT systems and able to manage a varied workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
