Graduate Engineering Geologist
Location: St Albans
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
About the Role
A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join their St Albans team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or candidate with up to one year's experience to develop their career within a supportive and expanding consultancy.
The Graduate Engineering Geologist will work across ground investigation, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting projects throughout St Albans and the UK.

Main Responsibilities of an Engineering Geologist:
- Assist with ground investigations across St Albans and the UK
- Soil and rock logging
- Groundwater and ground gas monitoring
- Support Phase I and Phase II assessments
- Environmental and geotechnical sampling
- Assist with contaminated land and remediation projects
- Prepare technical reports
- Maintain project records and documentation
- Support data interpretation and client liaison
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or related subject
- Ground investigation or contaminated land experience is beneficial
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel across London and the UK
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence or working towards one
