The Role As a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across History, Geography and Religious Education lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help students achieve their full potential.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Encourage student engagement and foster a passion for the Humanities.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, helping to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- A degree in History, Geography, Politics, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or another Humanities-related subject.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach.
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- An interest in progressing into teacher training or a career in education is highly advantageous.
