Graduate Hydrogeologist

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000

An exciting opportunity is available for a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join an established environmental consultancy in Wolverhampton. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across groundwater, contaminated land and environmental projects, with full training and support provided.

• Supporting hydrogeological and contaminated land investigations.
• Assisting with groundwater monitoring, sampling and site investigations.
• Interpreting groundwater and environmental data.
• Supporting conceptual site models and hydrogeological assessments.
• Assisting with groundwater risk assessments and remediation projects.
• Producing technical reports and data summaries.
• Using GIS and environmental databases to support project delivery.
• Working alongside experienced hydrogeologists, geologists and environmental consultants.
• Undertaking site visits and fieldwork across the UK.

• Degree qualified in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Geography or a related subject.
• A genuine interest in groundwater and the wider water environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable undertaking field-based work.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.
• Previous fieldwork, groundwater monitoring or GIS experience would be beneficial.
