Are you a graduate or early career engineer with up to two years' experience looking for a role that combines technical challenges with hands-on site work?

We're looking for a Graduate / Junior Remediation Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation, earthworks and brownfield redevelopment projects across the UK. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, gain valuable site experience and build a long-term career within a successful and expanding business.

No two projects are the same, giving you exposure to a wide variety of technical challenges while developing your knowledge of contaminated land, earthworks and environmental engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of remediation and earthworks projects from planning through to completion.
  • Preparing validation and verification reports to demonstrate project compliance.
  • Working closely with Technical Managers and site teams to provide information required by clients and regulators.
  • Monitoring site activities to ensure works comply with project specifications and environmental requirements.
  • Assisting with the management of unexpected ground conditions and supporting the implementation of safe, practical engineering solutions.
  • Developing an understanding of the Specification for Highway Works, including Series 600 – Earthworks.
  • Building the confidence and experience to manage your own projects as your career progresses.

About You

We're interested in candidates who have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Graduate to two years' relevant industry experience.
  • An interest in remediation, contaminated land, earthworks or geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
  • A full UK driving licence (or be working towards obtaining one).
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when project requirements demand.
